The Mind of the Mad: Analysis of Hamlet
Hamlet revealed his over-confidence and apathetic personality when he compared who had loved Ophelia most, the brother or the lover. In the play, Shakespeare shows the difference between only acting mad and truly being mad. Hamlet knows he can get away with asking people strange things while pretending to be mad.

In the play Hamlet, written by Shakespeare, the protagonist, Hamlet shows a state of instability which eventually leads to his irreversible actions. This sets his enmity towards his uncle and results in his desire of killing him.
